High-Level Meeting Underway to Address Rising Terror Incidents in Jammu and Kashmir

New Delhi: A high-level meeting, convened by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, is currently underway at South Block to discuss the increasing terror-related incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande, Defence Secretary, DGMO (Director General of Military Operations), and heads of other security-related agencies are attending the meeting.

The meeting aims to review the security situation in J&K and strategize effective measures to counter the rising terror incidents in the region. The discussions are expected to focus on enhancing security measures, intelligence gathering, and coordination among various agencies to ensure public safety and prevent future attacks.

The meeting comes amid growing concerns over the recent surge in terror activities in J&K, which has resulted in loss of life and property. The government has vowed to take strong action against terrorist elements and ensure peace and stability in the region.(ANI)
