Jammu: One militant has been injured while one M4 rifle recovered in an ongoing encounter in Doda district on Wednesday.
Official sources told GNS that one militant has been injured in an ongoing encounter at Akar Forest today.
There were some blood stains found in the area which gives the impression that a militant has been injured in firefight, they said.
Also one M4- Rifle has been recovered by the security forces. Two to three militants are believed to be trapped in the area, they added.
Till this report was being filed, operation in the area was underway.
The Army yesterday reported that a gunfight erupted with militants in the Akar Forest area of Patnitop.
