Minister Sakina Itoo warns of strict action against schools demanding capitation fee

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir education minister, Sakina Itoo Thursday said that the government will take strict action against private schools that are violating government norms.

“Whosoever is facing the issue of admission and capitation charges from private schools must approach the concerned authorities with a proper proof and the government will ensure accountability and action against the institute,” she said.

Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Itoo, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said they reversed the academic session and want a new academic session to commence soon so that winter vacation will be announced at an earliest.

She said that if any private school is violating government norms with regard to regulation of fee, strict action will be taken against the institution—(KNO)
