Mumbai, Apr 5 : The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday rose by 62.07 points at 38,746.79 as buying was seen in Finance, IT, Realty Capital Goods and Teck stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too advanced by 26.10 points to 11,624.10.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 38,908.95 and 38,701.04 points, respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 11,666.40 and 11,609.50 points respectively.
The gainers were Infosys By 1.62 pc to Rs 760.40, Bajfinace by 1.52 pc to Rs 3088.00, Indusindbk by 1.02 pc Rs 1,757.55, Tata steel by 0.92 pc to Rs 535.45 and TCS by 0.76 pc to Rs 2029.70
The losers were SBIN by 1.52 pc to Rs 316.80, Tata motors by 1.29 pc to RS 203.47, Power grid 1.03 pc to Rs 195.15, Hindunlvr by 0.88 pc to Rs 1653.40 and Heromoco by 0.72 pc to Rs 2,618.80
