Horticulture employee dies after tree falls on him in Shopian village

Shopian, Apr 28 : A horticulture employee died when a tree fell on him at his home in Balpora area of Shopian on Tuesday.

Locals told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the horticulture employee identified as Nazir Ahmad Wagay, a resident of Balpora died when a popular tree fell on him, which was being cut by labourers near his residence
They said that the incident took place yesterday, following which he was shifted to District hospital Shopian in critical condition from where he was referred to SKIMS, where he succumbed during night hours.
“He was laid to rest at his native village on today morning,” they added—(KNO)
