CM Omar Abdullah chairs meeting with party MLAs to discuss key issues

Srinagar : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Friday presided over a crucial meeting with party Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) to discuss issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting, held at the party headquarters, focused on key governance challenges and strategies to address public grievances effectively.

Sources told news agency KINS that during the session, Omar stated the importance of strengthening grassroots-level governance and urged MLAs to maintain direct contact with their constituents.

He called for a collective effort to address issues related to unemployment, infrastructure development, and the overall welfare of the people, they said.

Sources revealed that discussions also revolved around developmental projects and the upcoming political agenda.

“CM Abdullah reiterated the party’s commitment to fulfilling promises made to the electorate and ensuring the implementation of people-centric policies,” a National Conference MLA told news agency KINS.

Party MLAs actively participated in the deliberations, sharing feedback from their respective constituencies and proposing measures to resolve local issues. The Chief Minister assured the legislators of the government’s support in addressing the concerns raised.

“The meeting concluded with Omar urging party members to work cohesively and focus on delivering tangible results ahead of upcoming political events,” the MLA added.
