Baramulla: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A Spokesman said that Police party of Police Station Gulmarg headed by SHO Police Station Gulmarg at a checkpoint established at GEP Gulmarg, intercepted a person identified as Fazil Beigh son of Parvaiz Beigh resident of Lateefabad Kandi. During search, 25 grams of contraband charas like substances was recovered from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to Police Station where he remains in custody.
Meanwhile, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Gulmarg and investigation has been initiated.
