Alok Kumar inspects Assembly Complex in Srinagar

Assesses existing infrastructure, facilities for upcoming Legislative sessions

Srinagar: Principal Secretary, Estates Department, Alok Kumar, today conducted an extensive visit to the Assembly Complex in Srinagar.

Director Estates Kashmir/Jammu, Tariq Hussain Ganai along with other senior officials from both the Assembly and Estates Departments accompanied the Principal Secretary.

During the visit, Kumar thoroughly inspected various sections of the Assembly Complex and assessed the existing infrastructure and facilities for the upcoming Legislative sessions. He underscored the significance of the Assembly Complex as a vital hub for legislative activities, highlighting the necessity for ongoing maintenance and modernization to cater to changing demands.

Additionally, the Principal Secretary engaged in discussions with the officers of the Assembly and Estates Departments to explore strategies aimed at enhancing both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the Complex prior J&K Assembly Sessions.
