Four police personnel, civilian driver injured in Srinagar accident

Srinagar: A serious road accident took place in the Habak area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar on Wednesday.

A police official told the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB), that the accident involving police officers and a civilian driver concluded with a positive tone, with all victims recovering and later being discharged from the hospital.

A team of rescuers reached the site immediately after the accident and provided first aid to the injured, shifting them to Habak Hospital, he said.

Later, ‘’All five were shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment. They were stabilized and discharged, and their condition started improving’’, the official said.

The police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. The recovery of the persons involved was possible due to quick and effective rescue operations.— (KB)
