Infiltration Bid Foiled In Battal Sector In Rajouri, One Army Soldier Injured, Operation Continues: Army

Jammu: Army on Tuesday said that an Infiltration bid was foiled while an army trooper was also injured in Battal, Krishna Ghati Sector, Poonch.

Taking on to the micro-blogging platform X, army wrote, “Alert troops foiled an infiltration bid by effectively engaging infiltrating terrorists with effective fire in the Battal Sector at 0300h.

During the exchange of heavy fire, one braveheart was injured.
Operations are continuing, reads the post.
