Drug peddler arrested in Baramulla

Baramulla: Police have arrested a drug peddler in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district and recovered contraband like substance from his possession.

In a statement issued to Asian Mail, a Police spokesperson said during the search one person identified as Lateef Ahmad Mir son of Gh Mohiuddin resident of Waripora Tapper.

He further stated that 32 grams of charas like contraband, a gold ring and two hundred and fifty rupees in cash were recovered from the possession of the arrested drug peddler.

The police have started further investigation in this regard by registering a case under the DPS Act at Police Station Pattan.
