Editor Subha Kashmir Nazir Ahmad Wani passes away

Daily Asian Mail expresses condolence, prays for eternal peace to the departed soul

Srinagar: Senior journalist and Editor Subha Kashmir Nazir Ahmad Wani passed away after prolonged illness on Saturday. He was suffering from kidney ailment and breathed his last at SKIMS Soura.

A resident of Peerbagh Srinagar, Wani was known for his philanthropic outlook in public circles of Jammu and Kashmir.

On his departure, Daily Asian Mail Editor-In-Chief Rashid Rahil, Managing Director Mehboob Jeelani and Senior Correspondent Firdous Ahmad Wani expressed grief over the sudden demise of Nazir Ahmad Wani. They extended their deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.

“Wani Sahab was a man of pious virtues and his untimely demise is a tragic loss for us all. We extended our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and pray for the departed soul,” they said, adding that Wani Sahab’s contribution to the society will be remembered.
