Most Wanted and Notorious drug peddler held in Baramulla: Police

Baramulla: Continues its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested the most wanted & notorious drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substances from his possession.

A Spokesman said that a police party of Police Post Delina headed by IC PP Delina at a checkpoint established at Juhama Market, intercepted one person. During his search, 270 grams of Brown Sugar like contraband substance was recovered from his possession. He was identified as Mohd Ayoub Shah son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Ladoora Rafiabad. He was arrested and shifted to PS Baramulla where he remained in custody.

“Accordingly, case under relevant sections of law have been registered at police Station Baramulla and investigations have been initiated,” he said.
