Militancy has not ended in J&K, only dialogue can ensure peace: Farooq Abdullah

Visits DySP’s residence in Humhama to offer condolences

Srinagar: National Conference president and Member of Parliament, Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thursday said that militancy has not ended in Jammu & Kashmir and that only dialogue can ensure peace here.

Farooq Abdullah, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), visited the residence of Deputy Superintendent of police, Humayun Muzamil Bhat at Humhama, who was killed in the Anantnag encounter last evening.

Senior Abdullah while talking to media persons said that militancy has not come to an end in J&K.

“We cannot achieve peace without holding talks. Fighting with enemies can only lead to destruction and Ukraine is the perfect example of it,” he said.
