QR Coding of houses, premises will streamline better system of governance, delivery system in Srinagar: CEO Athar Aamir Khan

Says 2,30,000 houses, premises roped up in the survey so far

Srinagar: Chief Executive Officer, Srinagar Smart City Limited, Athar Aamir Khan Monday said that QR coding of houses and premises will streamline a better system of governance and delivery system in Srinagar.

“In metropolitan cities outside they follow a certain pattern in terms of addressing houses and premises. The same pattern is going to be introduced in Srinagar district,” CEO SSCL Athar Aamir Khan as per KNS told reporters here in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.

He said the QR coding gives data of every particular house and gives inputs about their electricity, water, sewerage facilities and also explicitly be it commercial and residential.

CEO SSL said we have done GIS mapping in Srinagar and in this regard 2,30,000 houses and premises have been roped up in the survey so far. “It is a digital number which will be given to every house and premises which will help us in identifying the location conveniently. “These QR metal boards will be erected on every house and premises soon,” he added.

He also added that QR coding will streamline a better system of governance planning and delivery system in the district.
