Vanquish : Bike Expedition By Ladakh Scouts Regemental Centre

 

 

Ladakh, May 23:To commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of LADAKH SCOUTS on 01 Jun 2023 and to pay tribute to the valiant soldiers for their unparalleled contribution towards the Nation, Zedang Sumpa Battalion of the LADAKH SCOUTS Regiment in collaboration with Royal Enfield has undertaken a bike expedition from National War Memorial, Delhi to Leh War Memorial from 23 May 2023 to 01 Jun 2023.

The expedition was flagged off at Delhi by Lieutenant General AK Samantara, SM**, VSM, Director General Infantry. The riders will cover a total distance of 1038 kilometers and will cross over high himalayan passes of Rohtang, Bara Lachla and Palchan. They will also interact with the citizens enroute with an aim to apprise them of the gallant stories of brave Nunnus, who have stood steadfast during adverse conditions and have ensured the sanctity of borders. The team will also visit schools enroute and spread awareness about various career options in Indian Army.

The bike expedition ‘Vanquish’ will endeavor to replicate the invisible spirit of our bravehearts by rekindling their spirit of courage and adventure.
