40-year-old man’s body found in river in Poonch

Poonch, May 18 : Body of a 40-year-old man was recovered from a river in Mandi area of Poonch on Thursday, officials said.

They said that at about 0700 hours, the body of one Mohammad Sadiq (40) son of Alaf Din of Nabana, Surankote in Poonch district was found in a river at Seri Chowna, Madana. A police team reached the spot and shifted the body to hospital for post-mortem.

Station House Officer Mandi Mukhtar Ali confirmed to GNS the recovery of the body and said that police have started investigations.
