Baramula Police booked another Notorious Drug smuggler namely Rafeeq Ahmad Khan @ Raja Rafi of Trikanjan Boniyar under J&K PSA

Baramulla, Mar 17: Acting tough against drug peddlers and to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Baramulla Police booked notorious drug smuggler namely Rafeeq Ahmad Khan @ Raja Rafi S/O Ghulam Hassan Khan R/O Gubdar Trikanjan Boniyar, District Baramulla under J&K PSA after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority.

The booked drug peddler has been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jail Jammu.

Pertinent to mention that 3 (Three) cases are registered against the said drug smuggler and was involved in promoting drug abuse trade by supplying drugs to local youth of Boniyar and other areas of District Baramulla*. Despite his involvement in many FIR’s he did not mend his activities and was again involved in promoting drug abuse trade by supplying drugs to local youth.

General public of Baramulla appreciated the role of Police for their action against drug peddler. Baramulla Police’s consistent actions against the drug peddlers should reassure the community members that Baramulla police is making all efforts to keep our society free from drug abuse.
