DC Ganderbal chairs RKS meeting, reviews functioning/patient care at DH

 

Ganderbal, Jan 5: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired a meeting of “Rogi Kalyan Samiti” (RKS) to review the functioning and patient care facilities available at District Hospital here at VC Room.

 

On the occasion, the DC, who is also the Chairman “Rogi Kalyan Samiti ” was apprised about the progress and performance registered by the DH under different indicators and financial allocation under RKS. A brief discussion was held on various services including Maternity and Child Health Services, referral services, Dialysis, Blood centre, Ayushman Bharat, ABHA card status, services under NPCDCS, PMSMA, Mental Health, ambulance service besides deliberation was also held on status of Hospital Civil works.

 

The Medical Superintendent, DH gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation regarding the facilities, functioning and activities proposed under RKS 2022-23 for the infrastructure up-gradation and overall advancement of the healthcare system in the Hospital.

 

The DC directed the concerned authorities to work on various necessities that are vital for upgrading basic infrastructure in the hospital and directed the Medical Superintendent to submit the detailed list of requirements department wise so that measures are taken with respect to the facility up gradation of the hospital accordingly.

 

He directed all the concerned to follow the objectives as envisaged in RKS guidelines and officials of health department were asked to work with added zeal and dedication to ensure efficient and prompt health and patient care facilities to the people.

 

The meeting was attended by CMO Ganderbal, MS DH, Executive Engineers of Jal Shakti and R&B, representatives from civil society and other members.
