Drug De-addiction awareness camp cum Moral Excellence Seminar held at Rasul Mir Auditorium Hall Dooru

Anantnag, April 14 :A seminar on the eradication of social evils including addiction to drugs was organized by J&K Nationalist People’s Front in collaboration with Shahabad Coaching Centre & Crime Investigation & Anti-corruption Bureau today at Rasul Mir Auditorium Hall Dooru.


The guests who were present on the occasion included President JKNPF Muzaffar Ahmad, President Municipal Committee Dooru Mohd Iqbal Ahanger, District Youth President JKNP Shahid Ahmad Bhat, and faculty members of Shahabad coaching center, in charge of J&K CIAB Er. Shariq Mohiuddin, civil society members from the concerned area, and other dignitaries participated in the event.
A large number of youth including students belonging to various schools and colleges attended the seminar.

The main objective of the program was to aware the common masses of the ill effects of drugs so that they can be eradicated from society. Many students on the occasion threw light on the topic that drug abuse is evil and the need of the hour is to give more awareness so that people will remain away from the deadly menace.

Several intellectuals, academicians, social activists, and students threw light on the drug menace and suggested measures for its eradication.
Muzaffar Ahmad expressed grave concern over the drug addiction by youth in general and students in particular. He said that teachers, as well as parents, should play a vital role in bringing awareness among youth about the ill effects of drugs and their impact on society.
He said one man could not solve such a crisis, people should support the cause in letter and spirit, then only the society can be liberated from social evils including drug addiction
