Doda: Adjudication Officer imposes Rs 2.53 fine in 19 cases of FSSA offences

Doda, April 12: Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda (Adjudicating Officer FSSA Doda) today examined 19 cases of violation here at a special court.

After giving several & reasonable opportunities to the respondents involved in the cases of offences for misbranding & substandard nature under the Act, the proceedings in respect of 9 cases, under section 51, 52 & 54 (Misbranded & substandard & ext.) of FSSA were ordered.  An amount of Rs 2,30,000 fine was imposed on the violators.

 Moreover, in 10 cases, under section 58- for running business without Registration, the penalty of Rs.23500 was also imposed.
