GDC Ramnagar organises awareness program on cleanliness of water bodies

Udhampur, April 5: National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit of 2nd J&K Battalian- Government Degree College Ramnagar today organized door to door awareness campaign about keeping the water bodies clean, here at at Thaplal village under  Nationwide “Puneet Sagar Abhiyan” launched by the NCC organization at National level.

The campaign was organized under the patronage of Dr. Udhey Bhanu, Principal GDC Ramnagar and under the supervision of Prof. Suresh Kumar Dogra, HOD Physics, Prof. Brinder Kumar, IQAC Convener and Prof. Aditya Sharma, Associate NCC Officer.

During the campaign, the NCC cadets visited houses of the villagers in the Thaplal village spreading awareness about the importance of keeping rivers and other water bodies clean in their area. The cadets also requested the public to cut down the usage of plastic bags and bottles in their daily life.

Dr. Udhey Bhanu lauded the efforts of the cadets for organizing the awareness campaign and contributing towards clean and better India. Besides, Dr. Mohammad  Riaz, Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed and Dr. Hari Singh were also present.
