No Plastic No Garbage Campaign

DC Doda distributes prizes among district level winners

Advises students to make recreational activities a hobby, Asks education department to conduct such programs regularly

Doda, Mar 23: District Administration Doda has launched a “No Plastic No Garbage Campaign” involving school students in varied environmental awareness activities across the district.

The main objective of the campaign is to bring behavioural change among all stakeholders with respect to the use of plastic. In this regard, District administration Doda, in collaboration with the education department organized a Painting Competition on the theme ‘’SAY NO TO PLASTIC’’. The competition was conducted at Cluster level, as well as at Zonal / District level from March 20 and will continue till March 26.

The activity was conducted into two categories. Students from various schools took part in the activity at school / Cluster and Zonal level, and accordingly, the topers at Zonal level participated in the district level event held at Govt HSS Boys Doda.

The programme was inaugurated by DDC Doda Vikas Sharma. During Program, CEO Doda, along and DEPO were also present.

At the end of the programme, the DDC Doda distributed prizes among the District level winners and also handed over participation certificates among the students.

On the occasion, the DDC Doda congratulated all the winners and participants and advised them to make recreational activities as their hobbies, which is beneficial for the all-round development of the personality. He also asked the education department to conduct these kind of events in the near future also.
