Ganderbal, Jan 12 : A hotel in Chinnar area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district was damaged in a devastating fire incident on Wednesday evening.
Reports reaching the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that fire broke out at Payam Hotel and resorts in Chinnar, causing massive damage to the building.
The Fire and Emergency Service (F&ES) men rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
SDPO Kangan, Yasir Qadri confirmed the incident to KNO, said that the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, police has taken the cognizance of the incident and has started investigation into the matter.
