ACR Anantnag conducts special CAB enforcement drive

Anantnag, Jan 11: The Assistant Commissioner Revenue, (ACR), Syed Yasir Kubravi today conducted a special Covid-19 Appropriate Behaviour enforcement drive in Anantnag town.

The officials inspected several government and private establishments and took stock of compliance to Covid-19 SOPs. During the drive the team visited several banking establishments and directed the staff and public to adhere to CAB. Several restaurants and shops were inspected.

Speaking on the occasion, ACR Anantnag said that people should wear masks for their own safety and the safety of their family members. He said that he observed that most of the people are adhering to COVID guidelines and any violators will be taken to task. He urged shopkeepers to deny services to customers without masks.

Syed Yasir said that the drives will continue in all parts of Anantnag. He said that in person teaching at coaching centres and educational institutions has been prohibited as per govt guidelines. He said special flying squads have been constituted and any defaulting coaching centres or educational institutions will be sealed.

Several violators including people without masks and establishments not following CAB were penalized and a fine of Rs 10000 realized during the drive.

He was accompanied by Tehsildar Anantnag and officials from Anantnag Police.
