DLSA organises awareness programme on CAB, vaccination at Bandipora

BANDIPORA, OCTOBER 18: The District Legal Services (DLSA) Bandipora on Monday organised a day-long awareness programme with regard to Covid-19 pandemic and vaccination drive.

Secretary DLSA Fariqa Nazir and BMO Bandipora Dr Masarat were chief guests on the occasion.

On the occasion, experts appealed to people to continue to follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) besides urging the un-vaccinated persons to get vaccinated at an earliest.

They said the pandemic is not over yet and any carelessness can lead us to trouble again. They said there are only two ways to fight the pandemic including adopting CAB and vaccination. They urged people to continue to follow CAB by using masks, maintaining social distance and ensuring personal hygiene.

Doctors said the Covid Appropriate Behaviour and SOPs are vital to prevent any spike in infections and cautioned against any complacency on part of the stakeholders so that the virus is kept at bay and its spread is curtailed further.

Experts further stressed upon the students who are attending offline classes to strictly adopt CAB while attending classes for their own safety.

Secretary DLSA said the objective of organising the programme was to sensitise the participants about the intensity of Covid Virus infection and the precautionary measures that can be adopted to break the chain of this infection.

She said that the PLVs, Asha Workers and Anganwari Workers can further raise awareness regarding Covid in the Rural Areas.

Among others, Doctors, Asha workers, students and Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) attended the programme.
