Srinagar, Aug 25 (UNI) Prominent social activist and educationist from border town of Karnah on Wednesday joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
A PDP spokesman confirmed that Syed Idress Shah from Karnch in the frontier district of Kupwara has joined the party.
Shah was welcomed to the party fold by PDP president and former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, he said.
