Youth commits suicide in Bandipora’s Ajas

Bandipora, Jun 26 (KNO): A 28-year-old youth has committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his home in Bazipora Ajas area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the youth (name withheld) consumed some poisonous substance at his residence in Bazipora locality of Ajas today morning.

“Soon after the incident he was immediately rushed to community health center (CHC) Sumbal for treatment where died,” he said, adding that the reason for the suicide was not immediately known.

The official said that police have registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigations have been initiated in this regard—(KNO)
