Shopian, Jun 25 : A 14-year-old girl was drowned to death in Nallah Vishow in Reshinagri area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An official told that a minor girl identified as Mafrosha Mushtaq, daughter of Mushtaq Ahmad Reshie of Reshinagri Shopian drowned in Nallah Vishow in her locality.
He said that locals tried to rescue her but failed and after continuous efforts of locals as well as police, her dead body was retrieved from the Nallah.
He added that further investigation into the matter had been taken up.
