Tipper driver killed after vehicle rolls down deep into gorge in Banihal

Banihal, Jun 18 (KNO): A tipper driver was killed after he met with an accident in Chamalvas area of Banihal on Friday afternoon.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the dumper tipper rolled down into a deep gorge after the driver lost control over the vehicle near Chamalvas.

“The driver came under the vehicle and died on spot,” he said.

He identified the deceased as Reyaz Ahmed Lohar son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din from Chamalvas.

The official said that his body has been shifted to SDH Banihal for postmortem—(KNO)
