Kidnapping and Rape, Arrested after 9 years: Reasi Police

Reasi Police on Tuesday arrested an absconder for kidnapping and repeatedly Raping after long hunt of 9 years.

Accused Mohd Mushtaq S/o Abdul Aziz R/o Thurru (Arnas) Reasi was absconding in Case FIR no. 10/2012 Dated 24/01/2012 U/s  363/376/343/109 RPC of Police Station Reasi, after Commission of crime. Accused didn’t appear before investigator nor apprehended. A warrant under section 512 Cr.PC was issued by Hon’ble court of CJM Reasi dated 22/03/12, against the accused.

It is Pertinent to mention that accused was constantly evading his arrest for the last 9 years by frequently changing his location both inside and out of the UT of J&K.

Reasi Police with a meticulous planning and effective Coordination, tracked & developed a specific input, which led to his arrest.

Reasi Police is on hunt to arrest another accused Mohd Sharief S/o Asghar Ali R/o Chana Thurru who is absconding in the said case whereas One accused Mohd Rafiq S/o Abdul Aziz R/o Thurru was arrested and had been bailed out by the Court of Law .
