Chattisgarh Naxal Attack: Family of missing Jawan blocks Jammu-Akhnoor highway

Demands safe return of their son

 

Jammu, Apr 07 (KNO): The family members of CRPF man who went missing after a Naxal attack in Chattisgarh on Wednesday held a protest demonstration and blocked Jammu-Akhnoor highway, demanding the safe return of missing Jawan.

The said CRPF personnel who is a Cobra Commando was part of the team that got engaged in an encounter with Maoists in Chattisgarh’s Bijapur and is missing since then.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the family members staged a protest and have blocked Jammu Akhnoor national highway while demanding the safe return of their son.

“We want nothing else than the safe return of our son,” the protesting family members said.

They also appealed for the immediate intervention of Government of India and Jammu and Kashmir’s LG administration into the matter—(KNO)
