New Delhi, Mar 17: Former union minister Dilip Gandhi passed away here at a hospital on Wednesday morning.
The BJP leader had contracted coronavirus and was being treated for it. According to sources, the former minister’s condition deteriorated on Tuesday and he was kept on a ventilator.
Gandhi is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
The 69-year-old leader served as Union Minister of State, Ministry of Shipping during the Vajpayee government from 2003-04.
