TWO DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED IN AWANTIPORA; CANNABIS RECOVERED .

Awantipora, Mar, 16 :Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Awantipora Police arrested two drug peddlers near Reshipora Bund.

The two arrested drug peddlers have been identified as :
1) Parvez Ahmad Sheikh S/o Ghulam Hassan Sheikh.
2) Amir Maqbool S/O Mohammed Maqbool Bhat both residents of Reshipora Awantipora and were arrested while they were travelling on motorcycle JK18-0221 .

04 Kgs of contraband substances grinded Cannabis was recovered from their possession.

The motorcycle used for the commission of the offence has also been seized.

Case FIR Number 32/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.

General Public of Awantpora, Tral , Pampore and Khrew are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in neighborhood area. Persons found indulging in drug peddlers will be dealt strictly under law.
