G N Azad arrives in Jammu for three-day visit

Jammu, Feb 26: Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir State, Ghulam Nabi Azad on Friday reached Jammu on a three day visit.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Azad, reached Jammu Airport on Friday afternoon where hundreds of Congress leaders and workers gave him an rousing welcome.

Speaking to media persons after his arrival in Jammu, he said, “Congress will do its best in five states which are going for polls.”

J&K Congress Chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir was also present during his arrival at Jammu airport.
A senior Congress leader confirmed to KNS that he is on a three days visit and will chair many public events besides a party meeting of senior functionaries
