Soldier killed, another injured as Pak shells forward posts on LoC in Rajouri

Jammu, Nov 21 (UNI) One soldier was killed while another suffered injuries as Pakistan yet again violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control in Laam area of Nowshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Defence sources here said that Pakistan Army on Saturday morning fired unprovoked and shelled forward areas of Laam in Nowshera.

“Own troops also retaliated befittingly to cross border firing,” they said.Sources further said that two soldiers suffered injuries but one of them succumbed.

“More details are awaited as intermittent firing was on,” sources added.
