Div Com visits Rainawari and CD Hospitals

Srinagar, March 23, CNS: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K Pole on Monday visited Chest Disease (CD) Hospital at Buchwara, Dalgate and Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial (JLMN) Hospital Rainawari, to review arrangements made by health departments to deal with the COVIS-19 threat.

According to CNS Divisional Commissioner was briefed by concerned officers about arrangements made for isolation and quarantine and testing the patients, with coronavirus like symptoms.

He was accompanied by Director Health Services Dr. Sameer Mattoo, Principal GMC Dr. Saima Rashid, Deputy Director Health Services besides officials of the department.

P.K Pole was informed that there is adequate stock of testing kits, protection gears and other equipments besides ventilators, to tackle the spread of coronavirus.

Divisional Commissioner directed the officials to be in the state of high preparedness to deal with the situation and asked them to follow the stated guidelines strictly, adding that suspected patients be provided all the care and facilities required by them

He directed the Public Health authorities to maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness and sanitation of the hospitals and ensure regular

fumigation, in and around all the valley health facilities.
