Bhopal, Mar 16 : Amid Madhya Pradesh’s roller-coaster political developments over approximately the past fortnight, the Assembly descended into chaos on Monday – the inaugural day of the Budget Session – resulting in adjournment of the House, first for five minutes and then until March 26.
Proceedings commenced with Governor Lalji Tandon’s address to the members. Subsequent to completing that formality, he appealed to the representatives to “fulfil their respective duties” in view of the prevailing circumstances. As per the protocol, the Governor then departed from the Vidhan Sabha.
