Vice-President postpones his visit to Sikkim

Gangtok, Mar 12 :Much awaited visit of Vice- President Venkaiah Naidu
to Sikkim has been postponed due to prevailing weather conditions.
He was expected on March 14 and 15 here.
As per the schedule he was to inaugurate newly completed temple the
Thakurbari and grace the 2nd Convocation of Sri Ramaswami Memorial
University, Tadung.
‘Due to prevailing weather conditions, the Visit of the Vice President stands
postponed,’ says the fax message from Ashok Dewan, Joint Secretary, VP’s
Secretariat, New Delhi.
The fax sent to Chief Secretary was received last evening.
Earlier, also his visit was postponed due to inclement weather.
