Kashmiri trucker killed in Jalandhar accident

Srinagar, March 08: A trucker driver from south Kashmir’s Kulgam was killed in a road accident on Jalandhar-Pathankot highway on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ishaq Bhat son of Abdul Rashid Bhat, resident of Manzgam, was critically wounded when his truck (JKA8A-5309) collided with another truck at Jalandhar Punjab on the highway.

The driver was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.
