We are hopeful of good results, CEA on Economic Survey

New Delhi, :  Chief Economic Adviser Krishnamurthy Subramanian, who is essentially responsible for drafting the Economic Survey, that will be presented in Parliament on Thursday, said his team has put in best of efforts and he is ‘hopeful’ of good results.
“Our team has put in a lot of effort ….and I hope results are good,” Mr Subramanian told TV channels.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Economic Survey 2018-19 in both the Houses on Thursday.
The Economic survey presented a day before the Union Budget gives out the status of the annual economic situation in the country.
The survey is expected to highlight policy initiatives of the government and a roadmap to further boost the economy, especially in the context of farm distress and challenges of creating jobs.
