Sensex down by 200 pts

Mumbai,  :  The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday slipped by 200 points to 38,866.51 as selling was seen across the board.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too eased by 64.80 points to 11,689.85.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 39,068.67 and 38,753.46 points, respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 11,748.75 and 11,655.90 points, respectively.
The sectoral indices include Materials, FMCG, Health Care, Bankex, Capital Goods and Metal stocks pushed the market down.
The losers were Yes Bank by 25.99 pc to Rs 175.70, IndusInd Bank by 5.55 pc to Rs 1602, Hero MotoCorp by 2.94 pc to Rs 2527.60 and VEDLby 2.30 pc to Rs 166.75.
The gainers were HCL Technologies by 2.81 pc to Rs 1169.80, HDFC Bank by 1.13 pc to Rs 2300.90, Asian Paints by 1.10 pc to Rs 1464 and Infosys by 1.03 pc to Rs 744.70.
