International Mother Language Day celebrated in Govt Girls HSS  Kulgam

Kulgam : Govt Girls higher secondary school Kulgam  on Tousday organised a poetic session to celebrate International Mother Language Day 2021 students participated in the programme.
Tehsildar Kulgam Ali Mohd who was the Cheif guest of the function who  highlighted the importance of mother tongue, especially Kashmiri, Gojri, Pahadi, Balti, Dard Sheena and other languages spoken in various parts of Jammu and Kashmir. They stressed on preservation of mother tongue that is akin to preservation of culture and ethnicity of a particular area.
On the occasion, students  presented cultural programmes in Kashmiri and Sheena language, staged sung songs of different languages which enthralled the audience.
Principal Govt  Girls higher secondary school, poets and students were present on the occasion.
