Infiltration bid foiled in Nowshehra sector,Three militants killed

Jammu, June 01, : Army on Monday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid and killing of three militants during the course Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district of Jammu division.

An army official told that during its continued the counter-infiltration operation, started on 28th of the last month, alert jawans of Indian Army foiled an infiltration bid by the militants, who were trying to sneak into the Indian side along the LoC in Nowshera Sector.

He said that three highly Pakistan trained militants were killed during the operation and a large quantity of arms and ammunition.

He added that the search and combing operation was going on in the area.
