PM Modi bows in reverence to Gurus on the occasion of Guru Purnima

New Delhi,:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday offered his warm regards to
the teachers, Gurus and guides on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
“On the auspicious day of Guru Purnima, we bow in reverence to all our Gurus who have played
an important role in inspiring, moulding and shaping our society,” Prime Minister said in a tweet.
‘Guru Purnima’ is a spiritual tradition in Hindu religion and oriental system dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers, who are evolved or enlightened humans, ready to share their wisdom.
The day is celebrated as a festival in India, Nepal and Bhutan by the Hindus, Jains and Buddhists.
