Mayawati flays Congress in MP & UP for working against BSP

Lucknow, :  Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Mayawati on Tuesday hit out at the Congress for allgedly misusing power in Madhya Pradesh and asking voters in Uttar Pradesh to support BJP to defeat the BSP-SP alliance.

In her tweets, Ms Mayawati first slammed the Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh where a BSP candidate was forced to withdraw in support of the Congress candidate in Guna Lok Sabha seat.
“It is a gross misuse of official machinery in MP like BJP was doing else where. Though the BSP candidate was forced to announce withdrawing from the contest in Guna seat against the Congress but still the BSP will fight on its own symbol and reconsider its decision to support the Congress government in MP in near future”, she said.
In another tweet, she said, “Congress was campaigning that let BJP win in UP but the BSP-SP alliance should not win. It shows the casteist and double standard of the Congress. Now the people are confident that only the BSP-SP alliance can defeat the BJP in UP but they should be aware of the conspiracy.”
