PM Modi in Sydney meets CEOs of top Australian companies

New Delhi/Sydney, May 23 :Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday began his Sydney visit by meeting the CEOs of top Australian companies and discussed with them opportunities for collaborations with Indian companies, and investment opportunities in India.

PM Modi met Dr. Andrew Forrest, Executive Chairman and Founder of Fortescue Metals Group and Fortescue Future Industries, Paul Schroder, Chief Executive, AustralianSuper and Georgina Hope Rinehart AO, Executive Chairman of Hancock Prospecting Group, Roy Hill and S. Kidman & Co.

MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi in tweets said:

“Promoting India-Australia green partnership!

PM @narendramodi met Dr. Andrew Forrest, Executive Chairman and Founder of Fortescue Metals Group and Fortescue Future Industries, in Sydney.

“Discussed opportunities for Indian companies to partner with Fortescue in renewable energy sector, particularly under India’s Green Hydrogen Mission.”

On his meeting with Paul Schroder, the spokesperson said PM Modi invited AustralianSuper to partner in India’s growth story.

“Showcasing investment potential of India.

PM @narendramodi held conversation with Paul Schroder, Chief Executive, AustralianSuper in Sydney.

“Pitching India among the top investment destinations in the world, PM invited AustralianSuper to partner in India’s growth story.”

On the meeting with Georgina Hope Rinehart, he tweeted:

“Fostering India-Australia collaboration in mining and minerals sector.

“PM @narendramodi held a meeting with Georgina Hope Rinehart AO, Executive Chairman of Hancock Prospecting Group, Roy Hill and S. Kidman & Co, in Sydney.

“PM invited her to partner with India in technology, investment and skilling in the mining and minerals sector.”
