DDC Chairperson Ganderbal inaugurates Cricket Tournament at Warphowa

Ganderbal, May 5:  DDC Chairperson, Ganderbal Nuzhat Ishfaq today inagurated a knockout Cricket Tournament at Iqbal Cricket Ground Warphowa Alustang.

Tournament has been organized by the  youngsters of Warphowa in which 16 teams will participate.

The Inaugural match was played between Batapora and Warphowa 11.

The people and the management body highly thanked the DDC Chairperson Ganderbal for participating in this Inaugural match and also demanded for upgradation of Play ground Warphowa.

Interacting with the participating players the DDC Chairperson complemented the local youth for organizing the tournament and urged them to involve more youth in sports activities which is the most effective tool to save our younger generation from social evils.

Among others the Inaugural function was attended by DDC member Phaak,  Molvi Mohammad Yousuf Reshi, Sarpanch Warphowa, Mohammad Maqbool, Social Activist, Haji Faiz Ahmad Bhat and other civil society members of the area.
