Driver arrested after police recover heroin from Santro car

Srinagar: Police arrested a man after recovering Heroin from his private vehicle in Kashmir capital Srinagar.

Police sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that after receiving information a police team led by SDPO Maharaj Gunj intercepted a Santro car (JK03-0662) in the Zaldagar area of Downtown Srinagar.

During the search of the car, one kilogram of Heroin was recovered. Accordingly, the vehicle was seized and the driver arrested.

The accused has been identified as Shafiq Khoja (48) son of Fathe Joo, a resident of Dildar Karnah.
