DC B’la chairs District Level Coordination-cum-Implementation Committee meeting

Dr Sehrish accords Approval of 06 New Projects under RRP&M scheme of Architecture & Heritage

Baramulla, July 20: A meeting of District Level Coordination-cum-Implementation Committee (DLCIC) was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar at Conference Hall of DC Office Complex here to review the progress of works being executed on development and restoration of Religious Places/Assets in the district.

At the outset, the DC discussed threadbare the Action Plan prepared for carrying out the restoration, revival, preservation and maintenance of Architecture and Heritage of Religious Places/Heritage Sites in Baramulla for the current year.

On the occasion, the committee approved 6 new projects in Baramulla district to be carried out under the scheme Revival Restoration, Preservation and Maintenance of Architecture and Heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.

The DC also asked the concerned departments to submit the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the same with the Department of Culture and Heritage Jammu and Kashmir.

During the meeting, it was also informed that 5 projects have already been taken up wherein the works are in execution mode. She was informed that the work is going on in full swing on different components of the project.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla,  Zahoor Ahmad Raina;  Joint Director Planning,  M.Yousuf Rather besides other officers of concerned departments were present in the meeting.
